Unity Tactical TAPS Pro - Surefire/Insight - Black

The Unity Tactical TAPS Pro mounts directly to any industry standard rail, including M1913 Picatinny, KEYMOD, and M-LOK. No third party rail adapters are needed, keeping the weapon lighter and sleeker. It features two onboard buttons and two accessory leads. TAPS Pro comes standard with a Surefire Light lead and MIL-Standard / Crane Laser Lead that fits NATO standard lasers from Insight Technology, Steiner, B.E. Meyers, and others. TAPS Pro is waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes when properly installed on a rail, and features more durable buttons than many competing pressure switches on the market. Its hardened housing will keep TAPS Pro standing up to the rigors of the battlefield

The heart of TAPS Pro is a user-programmable PCB featuring device isolation and redundant circuitry. Programmability is the key feature that gives the user complete control over how he/she operates weapon-mounted devices. The system can be configured to allow either button to control either lead. Next, the buttons themselves can be programmed to function in a multitude of ways:

• Momentary
• Constant
• Press for Momentary, Double Tap for Constant
• Tap for Constant, Press & Hold (>2 sec) for Momentary
• Slave Device Mode (both devices fire on one button press)
• Device Auto Shutdown Option
• Button Assignment

TAPS Pro runs off a single CR2032 battery for over 3000 “device-activating hours” (battery will last for years under normal operation tempo). The switch will operate in failsafe mode if the battery dies or is not present (this means it will work as a standard pressure switch until battery is replaced – user preferences will remain programmed).
